Can emotions be the cause of the disease?

EMOTIONS BECOME CAUSES OF THE DISEASE ONLY WHEN THEY ARE EITHER LONG-LASTING, OR VERY INTENSE, OR BOTH. But we know that our emotional and mental states affect our internal organs and VICE VERSA.

Let’s start to look for the interface between main organs and mental and emotional energies they realated to.


Lungs are responsible for our ability to live in harmony. Lungs are related to our COMMUNICATION.

Few signs of Lung meridian imbalance:
Depression, sadness, sedentary lifestyle, repressed emotions, sensuality, occipital headache, sore throat, shortness of breath, tiredness, cough, catching cold easily, anxiety, aversion to cold, excessive greasy or spicy food, excessive alcohol or smoking, asthma (which is often caused by eating cold food), muscle twitching, insomnia.

Lung's best friends: clean air, hydration, stable family upbringing, and safe breathing techniques.
Lungs enemies: grief, self-rejection, dryness, sweets, and sugars.

Borborygmus, asthma, anxiety, weak arms, and fingers, bloating, constipation, chills, headache, lower teeth pain, swollen throat and neck, stuffy nose, dry mouth, and dry skin.

Emotion: SADNESS AND GRIEF

Large Intestine’s best friends: moving the body, hydration, massage, expressing emotions, releasing old and accepting new patterns/beliefs, meditating, yoga, alkaline diet, and vegetables.
Large Intestine enemies: dehydration, sedentary lifestyle, toxic environment, dairy, sugar, sweets.


The Liver is responsible for planning and overseeing our path in life.

Few signs of The Liver median imbalance:
HEADACHE, MIGRAINE, depression, anger, poor or blurred vision, numbness in limbs, fever, craving for alcohol, chronic fatigue, painful period, cycle imbalance, shingles, heaviness in the chest, skin diseases, infertility.

Emotion: ANGER

Liver's best friends: Moderated and balanced lifestyle, yoga, detox, emotional expression.
Liver's enemies: STRESS, too much salt, sugars, caffeine, overeating, and especially stuffing emotions inside.


CHOOSING BETWEEN OPTION, DECISION MAKING, AND GOOD JUDGMENT - part of Gallbladder work!
It assists digestion to keep it moving and controls sinews, body flexibility, and tendon strength. The gallbladder and liver together help regulate blood, digestion, and emotions.

Few signs of The Gallbladder median imbalance:
Inability to make decisions, nervousness, depression, hypochondria, blurred vision, high cholesterol, bloating, pain on one side of the head, dull skin, mental disorders, insomnia.

Emotion: ANGER
