Let’s continue our brief talk about main organs and their relationship with mental and emotional symptoms.

SPLEEN – house of intellect. This organ is energetically related to our ability to learn and our imagination.

The Spleen meridian dysfunction starts with restlessness.

Few signs of Spleen median imbalance:
Pain in the stomach area, digestion issues, fatigue after meals, vomiting, apathy, leg joints and feet pain, bloating, nausea, and brain fog.

Emotion: WORRY/PENSIVENESS + OVERTHINKING

Spleen’s best friends: warm food, stable home environment, calm eating habits, regular meal times, daily routine, mindfulness, TAKE A BREATH AND DO NOTHING.

Spleen’s enemies: cold food and drinks, overeating, processed food, chaotic schedule, worry, multitasking, coffee.


MENTAL ABILITY AND CONSCIOUSNESS ARE FOUND IN THE HEART. The heart is a symbol of the ability to live in harmony and joy. Problems with the heart show that a person pushes harder than his emotional abilities.

Few signs of Heart median imbalance:
Sweating at night, pressure in the heart area, fatigue, dizziness, increased heart rate, euphoria, hysteria, mania. Imbalance could also lead to mental burnout and stress.

Emotion: JOY

Heart's best friends: meditation, self-reflection, simple diet, journaling, good friends, a nourishing environment, and compliments.
Heart's enemies: distraction, unclear direction, lack of love in the environment, stasis or stagnation, spicy foods, sugars.


Small Intestine is related to our ability to work responsibly and systemic, make a decision. Also, it could be related to the jealous of those who are lucky and ability to look at the things globally.

Few signs of the Small Intestine median imbalance:
Lack of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weakness in the limbs, hearing loss, constipation, headaches, euphoria.

Emotion: HAPPINESS/JOY + MANIA

Small Intestine’s best friends: probiotics, yoga, simple diet.

Small Intestine’s enemies: GMO’s, Cold, Spicy foods, Antibiotics.


As an energy system, the bladder meridian is related to the autonomous nervous system (fight or fly). This meridian rule the back of the body.

Feelings about sexuality self-control, self-support, and stability are emotional forces that can be held in the back. The overall state of this meridian is related to emotions.

External and internal mental pressure created bladder inflammation. People with bladder meridian imbalances usually can’t relax and put pressure on themselves and others.
Few signs of the Bladder's median imbalance:
Headaches, insomnia, fear, back pain, nosebleeds, vision impairments, neck pain, and tinnitus.

Emotion: FEAR

Bladder’s best friends: good quality water, relaxation, fresh fruits, and vegetables.

Bladder’s enemies: emotional stress, extended periods of fear, panic, heavy metals, dehydration, sodas, sugar, alcohol, and spicy foods.


Generosity, creativity, desire, and libido are all generated by Kidneys.

Kidneys rules: bones, spine, bone marrow, ear, and hearing, generating energy for the brain and nervous system.

Few signs of Kidney meridian imbalance:
Lower back pain, joint and knee pain, fatigue, low libido, impotence, poor hearing, antisocial behavior, shortness of breath, cold limbs, anxiety, high requirements for others, and fear.

Emotion: FEAR

Kidney’s Best friends: relaxation, respect and accept life circumstances, fruits, and communication.
Kidney’s enemies: “go, go, go!” mentality, “work hard, play hard” mentality, caffeine, sugar, longstanding fear.
